About Rachel

Rachel E. Doan, DDS always knew she wanted to work in the healthcare field and after a part time job at a local Periodontist’s office, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Rachel grew up in Canfield, Ohio. Upon graduation, Rachel went on to study Zoology at Miami University. She completed her Masters in Public Health at the University of Kentucky before earning her DDS from The Ohio State University. Rachel was ready to come home and serve her community. She completed a General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown before settling into practice at her current location.

Dr. Doan is passionate about providing quality care for the whole family. She treats every patient as if it were her own family sitting in the chair. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and the variety it brings to the practice.

Interesting Facts

Rachel met her husband Scott while working on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. Scott is a 5th grade teacher at Austintown Intermediate School. They have 3 daughters and 1 son. They look forward to having free time in about 20 years.
