About Dr. Almakky
Dr. Omar Almakky had a diverse upbringing as he completed his elementary education in France, where he was born, and later moved to his parent’s native city Damascus, Syria, where he would later receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. As a result, Dr. Almakky is fluent in French, Arabic, and English.
Dr. Almakky graduated with highest honors from the University of Damascus ranking 2nd in his class. After graduation Dr. Almakky pursued advanced training in Orthodontics and practiced General Dentistry in Damascus for 2 years before venturing out to pursue humanitarian work in Turkey, where he worked with NGO’s with the help of The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to bring necessary Polio vaccines to displaced and refugee populations.
In 2015, Dr. Almakky met his wife, a Dayton, OH native and began his journey in the United States. Dr. Almakky completed the International Dentists Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he graduated with a DMD with honors.

From his birthplace of France to Damascus, Syria to Turkey, then to Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Almakky and his family are happy to be settling and calling Dayton home.
He currently resides in Beavercreek with his wife, Gigi and their son Karim.
In his free time Dr. Almakky enjoys bike riding, badminton, swimming, and traveling. Dr. Almakky is excited to practice dentistry in New Carlisle and is eager to apply his diverse experiences to bring his patients the best dental care.
