We strongly believe that routine dental check-ups with oral cancer screenings can be vital to early detection and treatment. That is why we perform these screenings on every patient at every cleaning visit.”

—Dr. Mark Alexandrunas
Premier Dental of Ohio

We’ve partnered with The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital to help raise money for cancer research.

This year, more than 50,000 Americans will be diagnosed with oral cancer. Oral cancers can be particularly challenging, because patients often experience little or no symptoms until the cancer has progressed. We strongly believe that routine dental check-ups with oral cancer screenings can be vital to early detection and treatment. That is why we perform these screenings on every patient at every cleaning visit. Additionally, we have partnered with The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital to educate and inspire our doctors in these areas.

Because of what we’re offering at this center, we’re actually changing not only that child’s life, but the entire family’s life. That’s pretty powerful.”

Teays Valley

Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.”

—The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

We matched donations to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

Please consider donating to this worthy cause.

I’m going to see Dr. Mark soon. I can’t wait to get my teeth cleaned!”

—Brushy the Dinosaur

We created a booklet for young patients in partnership with Bridgeway Academy.

The booklet was designed to help young children get over their fear of going to the dentist.

The Donut Run is an annual 5K running and walking event to benefit Head and Neck Cancer Research at The James – OSUCCC. It is the original 5K that pays homage to the donut.”

—Columbus Donut Run

Dr. Doug Hudoba and our team completed the Columbus Donut run 5K!

Premier Dental of Ohio also sponsored the event. Proceeds benefit Joan’s Foundation for Head and Neck Cancer Research.

The Columbus Donut Run is a part of the James 5K Race Series. More than 4,000 participants, family members, and friends in Central Ohio raise funds and awareness for different areas of cancer research, including lung, sarcoma, and head and neck cancers at the OSUCCC – James.
